So... I've barely participated here but last weekend I started watching He's Coming to Me and then also The Sign. Both of them touch different supernatural topics and I'm enjoying them a lot.
I started watching He's Coming to Me by elisheva's recommendation because I needed something that made me cry a bit and I didn't imagine the cuteness overload (even despite the underlying melancholy since one of the leads is a ghost and we can imagine how a relationship like that will end) that are the first four episodes. But as soon as the big sadness started and I realized I needed a break and not being interrupted in case I was going to cry a lot.
Then, out of curiosity, I tried watching the first episode of The Sign and I must say it took me by surprise. To begin with, I am not fond of cops and the fact that they're cops (not just the main couple) was something that made me doubt I'd enjoy it, but as soon as the supernatural stuff made its appearence, it caught my attention. And... not gonna lie, the actors are so pretty. Billy is very handsome and Babe's eyebrows give me so much gender envy.
But I'm digressing. I am not a horror fan, since I'm scared very easily, but I've always loved supernatural/spiritual themes, I love reading and watching works that deal with different beliefs, I just love learning about it. So these two dramas have scratched that itch of my brain.
Currently, I am on episode 5 of He's Coming to Me, and on episode 8 of The Sign and looking forward to the rest of both stories.
I already want to read The Sign fics, but I always wait to finish in case there are spoilers. But if you have recs, they're totally welcome. It applies for He's Coming to Me too.

- He's Coming to Me mentions the cycle of being reborn, the ghost not being able to leave the cemetery, and the food and joss paper offerings.
- The Sign mentions karma, reincarnations, past lives, and some other religious elements and traditions, like the Rocket Festival (Prapheni Bun Bang).

Also, I think The Sign is the first non-GMMTV drama I watch, iirc.
I'm sorry for the chaotic post, but it's been a while and I wanted to post about these 😅
