I wonder if there are more dramas like 1000 stars and Moonlight Chicken? I'm not that interested in rapey or slapstick second-hand embarrassment comedy, and sadly so many Thai dramas are either-or. Any tips?
From the ones I've watched, here are some that might fit your description:
-I Told Sunset About You -Every You, Every Me -He's Coming to Me -Not Me -Cherry Magic, maybe -The Sign I enjoyed this one a lot but the ending was not my favorite -Last Twilight though I personally wouldn’t recommend it due to how it handles disability (especially in the last two episodes, but that’s a spoiler). -Gelboys I ended up liking this one a lot, but it’s aimed at a younger audience (I mentioned it in some of my weekly updates here and here).
I'm still planning to see Manner of Death as it sounds good and was recommended to me.
I was going to start watching last night but I could not get the WeTV app to put up the subtitles on my admittedly 9 years old LG TV :( I have no problem with iQiYi, Youku or Viki! In the end I gave up after an hour of trying out suggestions found online :(
Guess I will have to watch it on my PC - not quite so comfortable though!
I haven't made up my mind yet actually, only half an episode in. So far, we've been introduced to the main characters and now the story needs to kick off properly. Production value seems to be high. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of ep 1 when I get home today :D
I'm hoping to get back to some series I got distracted from (Meet You at the Blossom season 2 of Blank, etc.) and check out The Last Prince and Manner of Death this month.
